Vic: Victorian snow report for Friday, August 10
The Victorian snow report for Friday, August 10:
Falls Creek: Snow Depth: 70cm. Lifts: 14/16. Very good to excellent skiing and snowboarding
on good cover. Cross country: Excellent skiing on excellent cover. 19km of trails.
Mt Hotham: Snow Depth: 68cm. Lifts: 9/13. Very good skiing and boarding on a groomed
cover. Heavenly Valley and Gotcha both open. Cross Country: Very Good in Village and through
to Mt Loch. and Xmas Hill, fair to Wire Plain, mostly groomed.
Mt Buller: Snow Depth: 30cm. Lifts: 9/25. Good skiing and boarding on Little Buller,
Bourke Street and Wombat Run. Fair summit snow. Good sightseeing. Cross country: Good
on 9km of trails.
Mt Baw Baw: Snow depth: 18cm. Lifts: 4/7. Good skiing on a good cover of snow. Best
on Tank Hill, Champagne and Hut runs. Cross country: Good to very good on good cover of
groomed snow. Good conditions National Park, ungroomed. Exellent sightseeing, snowplay
and tobogganing.
Lake Mountain: Snow depth: 20cm. Cross country: Very good skiing on upper trails, good
on lower trails.
Mt Buffalo: Snow depth: 15cm. Lifts: 4/5. Good skiing and boarding on a soft groomed
cover on Gully/Novice Poma and Valley runs. Fair on Cresta run.
Dinner Plain: Snow depth: 20cm. Lifts: 1/1. Very good downhill runs. Cross country:
Good on Village and Dinner Plain trails.
Mt Stirling: Snow depth: 8cm. Cross country: Good on ungroomed trails.
Mt St Gwinear: Snow depth: 14cm. Cross country: Fair skiing on a fair cover.
Mt Donna Buang: Snow depth: 7cm. Good sightseeing and snow play on summit.
